JOHN W. SHRYOCK

John Winans Shryock (1842-1891) was born in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, the son of music teacher Daniel Shryock (1814-1892). He became an organist, tenor soloist, and music teacher in Kirksville, Missouri, and in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He died in Minneapolis. He published pedagogical books, with his father published “The Clarino: for schools, seminaries and choral societies,” and wrote a number of part songs.

All are mixed chorus unless noted; some contain divisi.
