ALFRED PRATT

Alfred Pratt (1873–1959) was born in Brighton, England, and studied at the Royal Academy of Music under Sir C. Hubert H. Parry and Sir Charles V. Stanford. He held several positions as organist and choir director, was a teacher, and was active as a composer. He was on the musical staff of the Beecham Opera Company during the interwar period. He was also known as Oliver Cussans. His compositions include substantial orchestral works as well as a number of salon pieces.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
