George H. Knight (1876-?) was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. He graduated from John Curwen’s Sol-fa College of Music in London and Victoria University of Manchester. He taught music in Halifax and Scarborough. He lived in Calgary, Canada, for a time and in Baltimore, Maryland. He composed a number of small coral works.
