ARTHUR FOX

Arthur Fox (1843-1914) was born in Stepney, Middlesex, England, the son of a surgeon. He trained at the Royal Academy of Music and became choirmaster at Christ’s Hospital where he remained until retirement. He was also a successful tenor vocalist. He died in Ealing, London. His compositions are mostly songs and a few other assorted pieces.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
