ARTHUR CHARLES BENNETT

Arthur Charles Bennett (1868–1947) was born in Andover, Hampshire, England, son of organist William Bennett (1822–1901). He trained privately and as a chorister at Winchester College. He became an organist and violinist, and held several positions, including at Wonston; Upper Clatford; Barton Stacey; Andover; Old Basing; Whitchurch, Hants; and the Andover Grammar School. He died in the Andover Old Grammar School House. He compsed a small assortment of pieces.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
