FELIX WHITE

Felix Harold White (1884-1945) was born in London. A self-taught musician, he became a pianist in the London Symphony Orchestra and was a staff member at Covent Garden. He wrote the ‘Dictionary of musical terms’ and translated Paul Hindemith’s operas Cardillac and Mathis der Maler. He composed songs, part-songs, works for orchestra and chamber works.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
