THOMAS FORBES WALMISLEY

Thomas Forbes Walmisley (1783-1866) was born in London, England. He trained as chorister at Westminster Abbey, and studied under Thomas Attwood. He was a respected composer and organist at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London. He died in London. His compositions include service music, anthems, catches, glees, and songs. His son Thomas Attwood Walmisley (1814-1856) also became an organist and composer.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
