JOS. RUD. SCHACHNER

Josef Rudolf Schachner (1816-1896) was born in Munich, Germany. He became a successful concert pianist with noted appearances in Vienna, Paris, and Leipzig. In 1853, he settled in London as pianist, teacher, and composer. Years later, after many successful years in England, he went to Vienna and died in Reichenhall, Bavaria. His compositions include an oratorio, piano concerti, piano pieces, songs and other assorted works.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
