F. A. W. DOCKER

Frederick Arthur William Docker (1852-1946) was born in London, England, and trained as chorister and assistant to Sir Joseph Barnby at St. Andrew’s, Wells Street, and at the Royal Academy of Music. He became Organist and choirmaster at St. Andrew’s and was appointed conductor of the Handel Society. He also served as professor of organ at Guildhall School of Music and lectured and conducted at Trinity College of Music. He later was Choirmaster at St. Pancras Church, London. His compositions include service music, anthems, and part-songs. He died in London.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
