HARRY DANCEY

Henry “Harry” Dancey (1862-1929) was born in Wandsworth, Putney, London, England. He studied music as a child and presented his first concert at the Assembly Rooms, Putney, when he was about eighteen years old. He trained at the University of Durham and became a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Organists. He was organist and choirmaster at All Saints’, Putney, and conductor of the Putney Choral Society. He died in Putney. His compositions are mostly church music and assorted choral and keyboard works.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
