JOHN H. BRIDGER

John Henry Bridger (1869-1938) was born in Farnborough, Hampshire, England. He was educated privately, in Guildford, and graduated from the University of Durham. He was organist at Farnborough Parish Church and St. Matthew’s, Redhill, Surrey, and taught privately. He died near Croydon, south London. He wrote a textbook How to Harmonize Melodies and composed a number of orchestral works, services, anthems, and hymns.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
