Albert G. Sliffe (1867-1923) was born in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and became well known as a tenor vocalist, assisting in concerts throughout the region. He and his sister Ella taught school music in Sugarcreek, Ohio, and he was a member of the Shanesville City Council. He died in Sugarcreek. His few compositions were small songs for educational use.
