J. H. KISSINGER

John H. Kissinger (1845-1922) was born in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was a music teacher for twenty-five years and active as a soloist in the New Florence and Blairsville region. He also conducted the New Florence Musical Association. He served on the first council of St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Florence. After retiring, he was engaged in the milk business. He died in Blairsville. He wrote a number of hymns and songs, published in different compilations for church and pedagogical use. He often used the humorous pseudonym H. J. Regnissik (Kissinger backwards).

All are mixed chorus unless noted; some contain divisi.
