B. F. GRIFFETH

Benjamin Franklin Griffeth (1852-1936) was born in Ohio. He taught vocal music in various locations including Chrisman, Illinois, in Iowa, and at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. He became a pastor in the Baptist Church and served at churches in Medina and Granville, Ohio, at West End Baptist Church and West Lynchburg Baptist Church in Virginia, and in South River, New Jersey. He died in South River. His wife Alice also wrote music.
