J. D. BRUNK

John David Brunk (1872-1926) was born near Harrisonburg, Virginia. He trained at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia, the New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts, and the American Conservatory in Chicago, Illinois. He taught at West Central Academy in Mt. Clinton, Virginia, Bridgewater College, and Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. He died near Elkhart, Indiana. He compiled and edited a number of hymnals and Sunday school books for the Mennonite Church, wrote a book for church singing classes, and composed a cantata, hymns, and Gospel songs.

All are mixed chorus unless noted; some contain divisi.
