EMANUEL A. AGUILAR

Emanuel Abraham Aguilar (1824-1904) was born in Clapham, London, England. His father was from the West Indies, of Spanish descent. He was a successful concert pianist and teacher in London, appearing regularly in recitals. He also performed in Germany. His sister Grace was a novelist. He died in St. Marylebone, London. His compositions include two operas, cantatas, symphonies, overtures, quartets, piano works, and assorted small pieces.

All are mixed chorus; some contain divisi.
